Coffee mug support group

Morning is not my best time of the day, but time with my buddy Snoopy can help me through. I also hang out with Linus, Lucy, Woodstock and good old Charlie Brown, whose images grace some of my favorite coffee mugs.

The Peanuts Gang and I go way back to “A Charlie Brown Christmas” in 1965. I still watch the animated show every year and treasure Charles Schulz’s messages of hope and peace in that special, as well as his long-running comic strip.

In my Peanuts mugs, I find inspiration as I meet the morning, particularly in these pandemic times, when the day may lack focus and purpose.

Snoopy reminds me to chill and ride the waves like Joe Cool. Woodstock is that ebullient friend who always shares a smile. Lucy is a strong woman who inspires confidence. Linus, as most Peanuts fans know, is a soft-spoken philosopher who totes reassurance in a fuzzy blanket.

And then there’s Charlie Brown, who really is all of us. He fights the good fight, gets discouraged now and then, but always tries again.
