5 steps to a better resume

Have you heard of the Modular Resume System? I invented it.

I’ve written more than 20,000 professional resumes. My clients get offers. They return to me for updates and refer their family, friends and associates.

I write cover letter and resume packages designed to get you in the door, to allow you to affect how the interview is conducted, and to enable you to generate offers.

Key to Success number one is a cover letter written to work in concert with your resume.

Want a specific job? Write a specific letter.

Number two is telling the potential employer how you can help them and what you want.

Number three, prepare for questions, concerns and objections.

Number four is one page that says who you are, where you have been, what you have been doing and when. You have eight seconds to succeed or fail in your effort to get an interview.

Your employment history and experience dictate how many additional pages you need.

Remember, number five, never more than two resume pages. Present pages illustrating additional experience in the interview.
