Our old stomping grounds made the news earlier this month when residents in northeast Ohio reported eight Bigfoot sightings. While no physical evidence or photos turned up, local researchers noted the number of reports was intriguing.
But what drew the hairy 7-foot-tall bipeds to this corner of the Buckeye State? I believe they were doing some early vacation planning here in these welcoming counties between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Seriously. I used to live here and it’s amazing.
Who wouldn’t be drawn to the lovely spring flora, the colorful autumn festivals and crystalline winter snowfall?
Who wouldn’t want to amble along Lake Erie, maybe catch a beat at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland? Why would you miss a tramp along the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park? And if a late snow doesn’t pop off Erie, stop for sustenance at one of Youngstown’s craft breweries, then check out other big folks at Canton’s Pro Football Hall of Fame?
These yeti guys are legendary travelers, after all. Why wouldn’t you follow their paths?

I heard there was an NIL offer from The Ohio State University.
It could happen!
