Property destruction, vandalism and physical assaults that result in injury and death are “legitimate political discourse”?
The Republican Party thinks so – and put it in writing last week in censuring a couple of apostates to the “Mar-a-Lago Man is Lord” creed.
That got us thinking. Using Republican Party logic, how else might we stretch “legitimate” to bless behavior that is wholly illegitimate?
Napping is “legitimate” physical exercise?
Adding pepperoni makes a “legitimate” vegetarian pizza?
Permitting your dog to poop in your neighbor’s yard without picking up the deposit is “legitimate” fertilizing?
Running over your neighbor’s dog with your car after it pooped in your yard is “legitimate” neighborhood beautification?
Cable network mouths who shill for my side provide “legitimate” news?
Hit-and-run vehicle accidents are a “legitimate” get-to-work-fast tactic?
Gunfire is “legitimate” conflict resolution?
Teaching school kids that enslaved people welcomed servitude as kind and gentle is “legitimate” social-studies instruction?
Rape is “legitimate” sex?
Yes, and right is wrong. Incitement to mayhem is right. And Mar-a-Lago Man is the One.
The GOP has spoken, folks. Bust some heads and more. Go!

OMG! You’ve returned with more piss and vinegar than ever before! So brave of you in your Red State stronghold. Bravo!! Regarding the Repugnican’s “alternative facts” pertaining to the January 6th “legitimate political discourse,” imagine this: Had those been BLM protesters attempted to have their discourse in a similar manner with that Orange Mass of Walking Sewer hair when he was in office, it would have been a blood bath with not a single survivor. The GOP’s lies, unbridled greed, insistence on White Supremacy at all costs, condemnation of women to the status of breeding stock, desecration of the planet, among other infelicities, are abhorrent. Fie on every single one of them. I hope Karma bites them on the ass and soon. Meanwhile, I hold no compassion, not a drop, and can only wish them to be dealt with according to Dante’s assignments.
Oh, and I know a great place to dump all that dog poop by drone: over Mar-a-Largo.
While I disagree with the Republicans on just about everything, I have to admit I’m completely onboard when it comes to napping. It takes years of physical training to perfect your technique.. and if that’s not exercise, the next thing you know Dr. Oz will be running for Senate. Madness I tell you. Sheer madness.
